So this was supoposed to be my first entry about the 2006 season, where I would talk about the Mets season by looking only at the performances of David Wright and (here's the Wrong) Victor Zambrano. Alas, I can't say I saw a damn thing because SNY and DirecTV have yet to agree on a deal, and at my office we have DirecTV. And what truly stinks is that the SNY studios are right across the street from me. I could see what looked liked the game out my bosses' 14th floor window on the monitor SNY has on Sixth Ave. I guess all I can say is that I read Wright hit a home run, and only assume Zambrano bumped into Aaron Heilman at some point, since Heilman had a shaky two innnings in relief of Tom Glavine.
I think the stress of trying to follow online and listen to the world's most staticky radio has given me a headache. A win isn't supposed to do that you know. I expect Wednesday (with a mid-game break for a new episode of Lost) to be much better on my head.
